This was the first time we'd used you for lighting hire and I found the quoting and installation process very straight forward and your team incredibly helpful. I think next time I would like you to be more involved in the decisions as to what lights to use in the space - the fact this didn't happen is purely down to us calling you so last minute. We needed some last minute kit for a video shoot and our usual supplier were unable to provide. I took a punt on AVE hire having never used or heard of them but needing kit delivered within 12 hours. Martyna was extremely helpful on the phone and stayed late to complete my order and then kit was delivered on time, setup and packed down v efficiently. Everything was perfect, arrived in time, worked well and the engineer who delivered was very nice :) The fire alarm did turn on in the end from the the smoke machine but we made a huge smoke and forgot to cover the alarm on the corridor, and the smoke went out eventually, so not really the machines' fault. We had a great first experience working with AVE Hire. We needed advice about lighting for a daytime event within our budget and were guided efficiently and clearly by the sales team. The technician arrived at the event exactly when requested and waited patiently for us to arrive as we were running a bit behind schedule. Once we met up the technician worked independently to set up the lights, which were positioned thoughtfully and worked perfectly. At the end of the event the technician arrived right on time, and quietly and efficiently packed everything away. Couldn't have gone better! My only advice would be to add some videos to the website showing the different lights "in action" as novices may not be able to visualize fully how they work, despite the good descriptions on the website.
